Frequently asked questions

What is the range of the Citation XLS+?

The Cessna Citation XLS+ has a range of 3,189 km, or 1,722 nautical miles with regulatory reserves. At its cruising speed of 798 km/h, that works out at about 4 h 00 of continuous flight. Real-world range falls with the number of passengers, the load and headwinds.

How many passengers can the Citation XLS+ carry?

The standard layout seats 8 passengers. The certified maximum is 9 seats, but a fully loaded aircraft loses range: beyond 8 people, reckon on about 3 % less reach per extra passenger.

How much does it cost to charter a Citation XLS+?

The hourly rate observed on the European market runs from €5,200 to €9,500 for a Cessna Citation XLS+. A two-hour flight therefore comes to roughly €10,400 – 19,000, all in: crew, fuel and landing fees. Most operators apply a minimum billing of one and a half hours.

Which airports can the Citation XLS+ use?

It needs 1,085 metres of runway to take off and 835 metres to land at maximum weight. That opens up short fields such as Cannes-Mandelieu, Saint-Tropez La Môle or Courchevel-Chambéry. Its service ceiling reaches 45,000 feet, above commercial traffic and most weather.
