Frequently asked questions

What is the range of the Citation Longitude?

The Cessna Citation Longitude has a range of 6,482 km, or 3,500 nautical miles with regulatory reserves. At its cruising speed of 882 km/h, that works out at about 7 h 21 of continuous flight. Real-world range falls with the number of passengers, the load and headwinds.

How many passengers can the Citation Longitude carry?

The standard layout seats 9 passengers. The certified maximum is 9 seats, but a fully loaded aircraft loses range: beyond 9 people, reckon on about 3 % less reach per extra passenger.

How much does it cost to charter a Citation Longitude?

The hourly rate observed on the European market runs from €7,000 to €13,000 for a Cessna Citation Longitude. A two-hour flight therefore comes to roughly €14,000 – 26,000, all in: crew, fuel and landing fees. Most operators apply a minimum billing of one and a half hours.

Which airports can the Citation Longitude use?

It needs 1,466 metres of runway to take off and 966 metres to land at maximum weight. That opens up short fields such as Cannes-Mandelieu, Saint-Tropez La Môle or Courchevel-Chambéry. Its service ceiling reaches 45,000 feet, above commercial traffic and most weather.
