Saint Barthélemy takes no business jets — its runway is too short. Here is which airport to use instead, what it costs, and how the transfer is arranged.
Runway length available: 646 m. The middle column gives the length generally needed for take-off at maximum weight, at sea level.

Bottom of the range for a one-way flight, on the most economical category able both to cover the distance and to land on this runway.
The aircraft skims the Col de la Tourmente, tips straight into the descent towards the runway, then levels off to touch down. The sequence leaves very little time and no margin for error. The runway ends on the beach at Saint-Jean.
Being type-rated is not enough: pilots must fly several take-offs and landings supervised by an experienced instructor on this particular airfield.
That is the norm for everybody, the largest brokers included. The jet drops you at Sint Maarten Princess Juliana or at Pointe-à-Pitre; some fifteen minutes in a PC-12 or a Cessna Caravan completes the journey. The largest aircraft accepted at Gustaf III is a De Havilland Dash 7. What matters is that the second segment is booked before you leave Europe.
The flight — your jet lands at Punta Cana (MDPC), which accepts very nearly the whole business fleet.
The transfer — a connection by Pilatus PC-12 or Cessna Caravan, about fifteen minutes' flying.
This is how every broker proceeds, the largest included. What makes the difference is not pretending otherwise, it is arranging the second segment in advance rather than on the day.
